I translated that using Google... Sorry I cannot reply in Spanish.

The number of songs an iPod can hold depends on the file size for each song. A song's file size is determined by the length of the song, and its encoding (compression).

When the 2nd generation shuffle was new, songs were typically encoded at 128 kbps. Today, songs are typically encoded at 256 kbps. This makes the sound quality better, but also makes each song file about two times larger. So, that is probably the reason it holds 136 songs today, not 250.

There is a setting on the shuffle's Settings screen in iTunes, to Convert higher bit rate songs to 128 kbps AAC. If you check this box, iTunes converts songs as they are synced to the shuffle. Sound quality will be lower and syncing may take longer, but more songs will fit on the shuffle (because each song file is smaller).
