Any chance that a flash drive of Mavericks is available, much like OS X Lion was? Mavericks takes too many gigs to download for 4 computers.

Is there any chance that a flash drive is available to purchase the upgrade to MasOS X (10.9.2). To download the upgrade for 4 computers is far more than I can download through my internet service provider plan.

Thank you,

Don

Not that I'm aware of.

Just download it once.

After the first download, stop the installer and copy the Installer to a USB stick or external hard drive. Copy it to all of the other computer's Applications folder and run it there.

To stop the install, go to System Prefereneces, App Store, and under Automatically check for updates, make sure to uncheck Install app udates and uncheck Install system data files and security updates...that way the installer will not automatically run but prompt you to continue the installation. That way you can continue with Barney's guidance to copy the installer somewhere safe for further use.

Since the file is 5.3 GB, the copy is still going to take half an hour or more so set aside enough time for this.
