Q: Please help me

Hi.. My name is Eslam Bakry and i'm from Egypt, i got a gift from my friend a iPhone 4S, he bought it from London, i tried to open it but i couldn't because it was locked ( SIM Not Valid).

I think it was locked by Vodafone UK and i have SIM Vodafone Egypt... so please help me for this problem.
