Hi.. My name is Eslam Bakry and i'm from Egypt, i got a gift from my friend a iPhone 4S, he bought it from London, i tried to open it but i couldn't because it was locked ( SIM Not Valid).
I think it was locked by Vodafone UK and i have SIM Vodafone Egypt... so please help me for this problem.

Have your friend contact Vodafone in the UK to get it unlocked.
If he does not do this the iPhone will not work with your carrier.

Sorry, nobody in this forum can help you with a carrier locked iPhone.
The only way is to contact the carrier the iPhone is locked to.
They are the only one who can officially unlock the iPhone, no one else. No websites or Apple can officially unlock iPhone.
