Running OS9 on macbook pro

I have an older Macbook Pro I'm currentely not using. There are a lot of old Mac games I miss playing, so I want to set up my old Macbook to run OS 9.

What software do I need, and how do I set eveerything up.

This is my system.

2011 MBP

2.7 GHz Intel Core i7

4 GB ram

Thanks for the help.

If you are really dedicated to getting OS 9 running, then I'd suggest using SheepShaver. Check out www.emaculation.com, it explains everything you need to know.

However, if you only want to play those old games and have no concern which operation system you use for it, perhaps it might be easier to install Windows XP. Many old games for Mac will also work on XP, and you can download XP and still be able to use mac osx on the same computer. Just another option, which may be easier, not to mention it widens your range of computer games you can play on one machine.
