Trouble with iDVD
When I try to watch a DVD, I get a popup box saying: There was an initialization error Error: - 108
What does this mean & how can I fix it? Thanks!!!

Do you have a problem with the application iDVD, or a problem when you try to watch a dvd?
It's when I try to watch a DVD.
I'm not sure about the application because I don't know what else iDVD would be used for...
iDVD is for the creation of video DVDs from iMovie, it is not for playback of DVDs.
For this you use DVD Player, or VLC.
Oh whoops. Yes, iDVD works fine; it is the actual DVD player that doesn't work. Any DVD will NOT play. I get that error message.
Darn. I'll have to start a new thread.

Try an SMC reset:
Resetting the SMC (System Management Controller) on Intel-based Macs:

Also, try cleaning your Superdrive with a proprietory CD/DVD lens cleaner that uses tiny brushes.
