iphone 5 screen doesn't respond to touch
Just swapped an iphone 4 for an iphone 5 for my daughter--with Verizon. The 5 doesn't seem to respond to touch, however, sometimes works with stylus. Any ideas or suggestions?

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.
