Ipad screen broken....internally?

Ok so here's what happened. I accidentally dropped my ipad yesterday on the ground. When it landed on the ground, the glass on my screen looked just fine, but then i noticed an internal crack. On the side with the internal crack, my sensor will not work. I swiped my finger on the side of the screen with the crack so that i could scroll but nothing happened. On the other side of the screen with no crack, i swiped my finger to scroll and it worked fine. So basically the side with the crack's sensor wont work and the side with no crack does. All i just want to know is 1. is the internal crack fixable and will fixing it fix my sensor too and 2. how much does it cost to fix the internal crack?

The memory (actually you mean storage) is not transferred between iPads.

Your content has all been backed up using iTunes or iCloud, hasn't it? You do that often, right? If so, you can retrieve it all from your latest backup to your replacement iPad.

If you haven't been backing up your iPad as you should, then you can retrieve your iTunes purchases and whatever information you have stored somewhere on your computer (e.g., photos).
