Subtitle in Dvd Studio Pro cuts the first letter

I'm doing subtitles in Dvd Studio Pro and it seems like in the beginning of every subtitle the very first letter of the sentense is slighly cut? If I increase the size enough there's no problem, but like with 22 pt it's there. Very slightly but still so that it gets annoying after a while. Has anyone had similar problems? Changing font does not resolve it.

Other problem was when I converted the xml-file from FCP to stl-file and imported the stl-file to DvdSP I found out that all the spaces came right but only half of the text came to timeline. It's not a hard job to copy the txt back there again, but it's just interesting why it does this. There's no logic in it. The epty txts are in between the timeline here and there.
