Mac mini memory: 204 pin or 240 pin?
Hello,
I plan to upgrade memory for Mac mini (Mid 2011) to 2X4GB. There are three options:
1. CORSAIR 8GB (2x 4GB) PC3-10666 SODIMM 204-Pin $75 model: CMSO8GX3M2A1333C9
2. CORSAIR 8GB (2 x 4GB) PC3-10666 1333 MHz 240-Pin $83 model: CMX8GX3M2A1333C9
3. CORSAIR 8GB (2x4GB) PC3-10666 1333 MHz 204-pin $85 model: CMSA8GX3M2A1333C9
I am confused by the pin nymbers, 204-pin or 240-pin? Does the memory has different size? Is PC3-10666 or PC3-10600?
Apple's specifications only said:
A. Small Outline Dual Inline Memory Module (SO-DIMM) format
B. 1333 MHz, PC3-10600E, DDR3 compliant (also called DDR3 1333)
C. Unbuffered and unregistered
which one I should choice, 204-pin or 240-pin? Thanks.
