How to upgrade OpenSSH without macport or homebrew

I would like to upgrade openssh/openssl to their latest releases via the terminal. All I can find is how to do it with macport or homebrew - I don't want to use these.

OS X isn't like Linux. If there is a security patch that needs to be installed, you don't have to do it yourself. Apple takes care of it for you. In this case, Apple had stopped using the affected library some time ago. So updating the library won't help you very much because very little native Mac software would even be that library.
