You mean by syncing with iTunes I would assume because you can download any single song that you want in the iTunes app on the iPad.
If you manually manage songs and videos in iTunes, yes you can add single, selected songs to the iPad by dragging them to the device when connected to the computer.

Thanks for your answers.I try to be more clear (and forgive me for my English!) . I mean,When I sync music on my iPad from iTunes,it lets me choose artists and albums but not the single tracks.Is it possible to do it?
I assume that you did get this sorted out now, but yes you can do that. Did you read the kb article that I linked for you?
