Pages 5.2: Where are Image guidelines wrt previous inserted images?

One of the best and well working feature of pages was the possibility of inserting many images and get yellow guidelines to allineate them.

I updated my Pages app and tryng to do the usual procedure of place images and alline them wrt each other I dont get yellow guidelines anymore, guidelines are only helping me putting the image at the center of the page or at the border of the page, but no informations wrt other images previously placed.

Did Apple removed this feature?

Please help me, I really nees this.

PS: allineament guides from pages preferences are activated as before the update

MacBook Pro 15', Mac OS X (10.6.4)

Rulers are back in Pages 5.2 but I don't think Guide lines are. Why not just continue using Pages 09 whcih has about 100s more features that Pages 5.x hasn't!!! You should still have Pages 09 in Applications/iWork 09 folder.

Menu > View > Guides > Show Guides

Thank you for your suggestion, but it doesn't work. I've tried to hide guides and then push "show guides" again but still no reference between two images.

Thank you for your answer, I have reistalled the previous version (5.0) of pages and guides are present and well working. I would like to understand what is happening with 5.2

SOLVED!!!! This helped: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3948067

Actually after you drag an immage on the document you have to select the immage and do:

Format > Arrange > Object Placement: Stay on page (and NOT move with text).

This makes guides between images appearing again!

You have the image/s fixed in place in the text and wonder why you don't get alignment lines.

And it wasn't worth mentioning!

Oh well at least you solved it. 🙂

I don't understand what you are saying, with both options the images are not fixed in place, they can be moved as you wish, but with Stay on page you get guides
