Ask on a Windows forum since that's what you're having problems with.

After wasting half a day & 2 GBs pursuing a solution via “PCunlocker“, we broke down & reinstalled our Parallels 8 (which had somehow got corrupted in the process), reinstalled Windows7, Microsoft Streets&Trips, and SilverLeaf VMSpc/PressurePro tire pressure monitor. Now we no longer get the error message when Parallels starts up. Also Windows7 no longer requires a password. We’re guessing because this time we opted to have W7 behave as a Mac instead of a PC. Also, everything seems to start & run faster now.

FatMac, thanks for this. It sounds good, but our situation was too far gone to use it. We'd lost access to the ONLY Windows OS we have. The fresh installation works amazingly well, no Parallels error message, no windows password, just goes directly from the Mac dock to the running Windows program. Our Parallels has NEVER run this well. We're guessing because we opted for Windows to run like a Mac when installing W7. Can anyone explain this? We're very low-tech, but have lots of luck, some good, some bad...

I think maybe the fresh install is what was needed; the previous virtual machine may have become corrupted or infected with a virus and starting completely over restored the pristine state.

Remember that one of the virtues of virtual machines is that the VM file can be duplicated; do that now, put it aside, and if you ever run into deep trouble again, you can simply go back to your VM file backup. Try that with a real PC.😉
