I have a MAC OS X 10.6.8. I inserted a card from my camera into the Smart Card Slot and can't remove the card. Please assist.

Please advise on the methods you used to eject it. There are several methods including using Finder, Disk Utility, the eject key by itself, etc...

Perhaps  > Force Quit... , click on "Finder", and then Relaunch Finder?
