Garage Band, problem bouncing/sharing (OS X Mavericks)

My song/project sounds great in Garage Band, loud and clear. But when I bounce/share the AAC or MP3 file is extremely low, barely audible. How do I bounce the project without loosing it's volume and clarity?

GarageBand (Mac) '11, OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)

You could try to set the "Advanced" Preference "Auto Normalize".

Thanks for the reply Leonie. I already have Auto Normalize set, it is still low. In fact I tried bouncing it without Auto Normalize and it actually came out louder, but distorted.
