PNY Flashdrive Help

Hi guys...

My PNY flashdrive is about 6 months old and the other day is would not open Microsoft Word documents on my Macbook Pro. An error comes up sayins "word cannot open this document. The document might be in use, the document might not be a valid word document, or the file name might contain invalid characters. At first i thought the flashdrive itself was the problem, but it will work on a PC. Also, I can get it to open these documents on my Macbook if it tell it to "open with" pages...but none of them will open on Word.

Many of my documents need to be accessed through word, so I am very concerened. Please Help 🙂
