Q: Sending iphone for repair - what do I need the phone to show on Icloud under Find my IPhone

My iphone shows up as offline on the icloud website - it currently isnt working/turning on - I have to send it in for a repair, is that going to be OK that the find my iphone wont cause any issues for the repair technicians, or should I forget/ remove from account??
