When I use emoji it goes back to the home screen. help please !!!

Please help, I have a 5s 64gb in gold since December I can't use emoji at all, when I use them in text it just takes me back to the home screen. Been to few different apple shop and they are no help what so ever !!!

iPhone 5s, iOS 7.1
