after update 7

after my iphone4 was updated to 7.1 i can dial out but cannot hear or the person calling cannot hear me

iPhone 4, iOS 7.1

Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing with your iPhone. It certainly is impossible to make and receive calls if you can't be heard and cannot hear the other person.
