Push calendar events to another iPhone or person

Hi,

Is there a way (or post) that shows how one person can push their calendar events to another person? I think it would be really cool to get a message like, "[Mom's Bday part: 7pm: April 30th] Push yes to accept and import into your calendar." I'm pretty sure there's been a post like this before, so sorry for spamming. Please point me in the right direction.
