My safari is being weird and saying Mac OS X doesn't recognise Internet address starting with "macappstores:"
iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.8)
Web addresses start with "http" or "https".
Sometimes they can be amended to something like "get.reader.adobe.com"
NO addresses contain ":" anywhere other than following "http" or "https".
Try "macappstores." followed by the rest of the address.
