Microsoft Word 2011: problems with unwanted bullet points

Okay i have a serious problem!

I am trying to send out my resume to different business but everytime it is open from a computer other than mine its adding bullet points that I cannot see on the original file. Like in one version there is no bullets there and it the other it is... I have no idea whats going on. The bullets lie beneath words and all and they are impossible to delete. Unless I delet everything on the page.
