Mid 2010 MBP black screen

I've only started having this issue for about a month now. It used to be sporadic, and now it happens pretty much daily. My MBP just randomly turns the screen black. The only way to get my computer to work again is to force shut down with the power button. No amount of adjusting the brightness makes the screen turn on. Any audio that was playing while it goes black sounds like a broken record. It can happen when I am doing anything. Sometimes it's right after I restart, sometimes it's when I have 5-10 things running. It's really starting to get on my nerves, as I use this computer for work and school. I don't have warranty on this computer, and any free repair is now expired being that it's more than 3 years old.

I've copied the text it gives you when you send a report to Apple. There are 3 different random times. http://pastebin.com/xVLgUQsN Any help would be extremely helpful.

Thank you.

You have the mid-2010 problem. There's an issue with the graphics module on that machine. There was a program in place to replace the motherboard within 3 years of purchase, but you're probably outside of that. Some folks have supposedly gotten theirs changed outside of that period, so you can try.

What you can do to use it is download gfxcardstatus from http:gfx.io and force the graphics to Intel. That will lessen the panics at the expense of graphics speed.

You may be eligible for a depot repair, which is a flat rate of about $310. Ask at the Genius Bar. Take along a printout of your panic.
