Question

Can i back up my iphone when i can not get into my iphone

My phone has shut off and i need to access my contacts on iCloud but alot of the arent there. Is there a way to get this without getting into my phone?

iPhone 4S, iOS 7

You cannot backup or extract information from an iPhone that is shutdown. The iPhone must be operational and unlocked to access the content.

Unless the information is on another device, no there is not a way to get the information.

What if i sync my iphone to my computer. Could it all download from there?

The iPhone has to power on to sync, why is it shut off? Can you charge it, turn it on? If ou plug it in to charge, does it start, or if not, try a reboot by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears, ignore the red slider if that appears.

If it starts, you can sync to our computer or first see if all of your contacts are still on the iPhone.
