There are about 50 songs I cant remove from my iphone5s, how do I delete them?

I have for a while tried to tweak my playlists in order to get rid of a bunch of songs I want to remove from my phone. I decided to see what happened if I stopped syncing ALL audio at all with my phone - but there are still 50 songs showing up. These are not songs located on iCloud (I have turned that feature off as well). Heres a screen shot:

There was more audio in form of books and podcasts that showed up in the blue audio bar at the bottom, but I deleted these as well. Whats left now seems impossible to remove.
