? about news item tonight about SSL

I am a bit confused, about a item on the news about breaches in SSL (Secure Socket Layer). Google Chrome puts a RED through the lock and https on many internet sites on the family Dell, but not my MBP. I DO have Safari as my default browser my MBP, mostly to avoid shared aspects.

Any ideas about this issue?
