I cannot login (or log out) of the app store, or access my account

I'm using OS X 10.7.5 and find that three of the four quick links on the categories page do not work. I cannot access my account, or sign in, or sign out, and thus I cannot make any purchases either.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.5)
