How do I Remove Audio Filters

I suspect you are loaded filters into your FCP filters folder.
I am confused. Are the files for Pro Tools that you have tried to load into FCP for use while editing?
To delete these files from the plug in's folder, Open a Finder window, go into your Home folder, then go into your Library. From there scroll down and find a folder that says Preferences. Open that folder, it's much easier to view it in List view to find the FCP folder. Make your way to the folder that says "Final Cut Pro User Data" you'll see the Plug ins folder. Drag them into the trash and empty the trash.
It may be easier to open FCP and see what you need to delete.

it is most likely WAVE's plugins they cause some problems with FCP

they won't be
what is in your FCP filters folders are FXscript plugins not AU they are stored in the main library compenents folders
it is unwise to suggest to trash stuff at the drop of a hat
often these plugins are very expensive

I have run into the same issue. I have put the Components folder on the dock and made an "Audio Plug-Ins" folder on my desktop. When I want to use Logic with all my cool plug ins I go to the dock open the Components folder and drag the plug-ins from the folder on the desktop. Then when I want to use FCP I do the opposite. Kind of a pain if you are trying to do audio work in PT/Logic but. I hope the next version of FCP is more AU compatable.
