VNC server
Hi,
I need to give a PC user access to my server running Mavericks Server.
How do I enable VNC? It's a checkbox in preferences but can't find it in the Server App.
Thanks,
Ivo

If you're simply trying to create a screen session via vnc to your mac from a windows machine, then in your mac you can go to: System Preferences > Sharing > Remote Management > Computer Settings. Check the "VNC users may control screen with password box and enter your password you want to use. Verify the remote management box is checked/enabled. Install whatever VNC client you prefer to use on Windows and connect to your vnc (server) on your mac via IP.

You may also want to look at Remotix for Windows.

While it is possible as described by xelphor to turn on a VNC compatibility mode - Remotix lets a Windows machine do ScreenSharing without needing the VNC compatiblity mode turning on.
