What is the difference between Polish and Polish Pro in input sources?
I just wanted to know the differences for both input sources, or if there even was one.
Thanks

Hey Melophage,
Thank you so much for the info!!
Is there any benefit using one or the other for everday typing? Should I just use the one I'm more comfortable with. I find the pro is much simpler by using the option key to change the letters.
PrusOperation,
if you had to switch regularly between Polish PC keyboards and Polish Mac keyboards, then it might be useful to become accustomed to the Polish input source; but if you only have to deal with Mac keyboards, then use the Polish Pro input source, since you’re more comfortable with it.
Melophage,
Perfect, thanks a lot for the answer!
PrusOperation,
yes, there’s a difference between them. The “Pro” in “Polish Pro” is short for “Programmer”. The Polish Pro input source is essentially a US English keyboard layout with the characters generated using an Option key oriented towards the additional letters needed for the Polish language. (Programmers tend to use the full range of punctuation in the US English input source for writing their programs.) The Polish input source is a more traditional QWERTZ-variant keyboard layout, with dedicated keys for Polish letters (e.g. Ł, Ż).
