My MacBook Pro says it is connected to the internet, but I can't get on the internet/other things that uses it. HALP
Hi, my computer has been messed up for a while now. It connects to the internet, but when I try to get on things like Safari and other stuff that uses Internet/wifi, it doesn't let me on, and gives me the good ol' "Safari can't open the page" message. I've tried network diagnostics, and it said I was connected to the Internet, but then my hopes were crushed when it didn't let me on the internet. I've tried Airport Utility, and it had a green "connected" dot, but my hopes were shattered again. I tried Disk utility, did all the proper procedures, but that failed me also.
RECAP: My MacBook Pro says it's connected to the Internet AND WiFi, but it doesn't let me use Safari/any other things that use Internet/wifi. Any help would be great. Thank you!
MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)
