Can the apple store folks help replace the hinge on my macbook pro 13"?

I have the macbook pro 13 inch mid 2012. My concern has been my hinge. It's not broken or anything but in the middle part of it has peeled off. Would I be eligible to have that small issue taken care of? Or would I have to wait for something drastic to happen to my hinge? It's somewhat annoying to me because I have no idea how that part of the hinge began to peel in the first place..
