Q: xsan 3 warning: "check fibre channel cables"

I have a warning on 2 of my clients in the computers window of xsan admin 3.1.  Under status column it says "check fibre channel cables" .  However, both cables are operating properly, displaying active lights on both ends, and I am able to access the SAN with no problem.  Does anyone know why I am getting these warnings and how I can get rid of them.  Also I have two other clients that are showing "unreachable or offline" under the status column.  However, they have full access to the SAN.  All computers are running and connected via the private and public LAN and fibre.

You might see the "check fibre channel cables" messages if a system can't see all of the LUNs for a volume. If everything is working properly, then it could be a remnant of a problem that has been resolved. Try closing the window in Xsan Admin, click Disconnect, then reconnect with File -> Open -> Manage existing SAN, and reconnect to your MDC.
