How do I make my profile picture for linkedin meet the 4mb file size limit? Using Macbook Pro w/Mavericks?
MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)
The Preview app located in your Applications folder can resize photos from the Tools drop down menu.
Tools > Adjust Size
Select a different width and height in pixels, select Scale proportionally.
You'll see; Resulting Size
You may have to tweak the Width and Height to meet the maximum 4MB file size.
The photo must be formatted for JPG, GIF, or PNG as noted here.
