I have hpgl files that open on my MAC using Graphic Converter. Is there any way to view the .plt file on my iPad?

Take a look at Turboviewer in the App Store, they have a limited function free version you can try.
There doesn't seem a way to import any files in free TurboViewer.
For trial use email
For use try Dropbox
Email a file to yourself
Select attachment in email
Hold on it for a moment until you see open in dialog
Click open in
Select tv
I tried to open a .plt file in Turbo Viewer,
Message: file format not supported
I tried two other viewers with the same result.
I get the .plt files from a HP Analyzer that outputs it's screen data to a .plt file.
I can also create and edit .plt files with text edit and view them on my MAC with a graphic file editor.
I'd like to do that in my ipad.
I do not know of any graphic converters, I think TV pro supports the format your asking for but I suggest you contact them first to verify, their contact details should be listed in the store, it is not an inexpensive app. So make sure first.
