i am having problems downloading the proper version of Quicktime for MacMini please advise

I am currently using a MacMini version is Os.x Maverisck 10.9.2 and i am having trouble downloading Quicktime. I recently saved a file which is in quicktime and everytime i try to downlocad quicktime i get a converting message and then pointed to the Apple website can you please advise.

Are you talking about Quick Time Player? I believe you are.

You should have a version of Quick Time Player that was included with Mavericks. You can find it in your Applications folder. The current version is 10.3.
