Q: Trying to restore my iphone. I keeping an error message of (1) saying it cannot restore...help

Trying to restore my iPhone 4s.  I forgot my password and tried to restore and recover my phone through iTunes. I keep getting an error message of (1) saying that it cannot restore. Any advise??
