mi iphone 5 shows no signal..it always showing searching..please fix it......

Dear I have same problem from last 4 days some time it works and some time search...then shows no service
Update to the latest iOS version which is currently 8.4
With which wireless provider in what country are you using the iPhone?
imobl, take caution when recommending an iOS update for this issue.
If the IMEI number is not showing in Settings > General > About
Then the iOS update will fail and brick the phone if updating from the computer.
Attempting the update from the iPhone will error out saying: The update could not be completed.

Always check to see if the IMEI is showing up, if it is, recommend the iOS update
If it's not showing, they need to buy a new phone.
According to the issue the user is describing, it would seem like the latter and the GSM chip failed thus no IMEI anymore.
There seems to be a batch of iPhone 5's that have a faulty GSM chip and so it would randomly fail, producing the symptoms the user is experiencing.
