Does Mac Mini mid 2011 support CalDigit Thunderbolt Station

I just got a CalDigit Thunderbolt Station to expand my Mac Mini running OSX 10.9.2 to take advantage of the thunderbolt speed and get the use of USB3, however, when I connect the Thunderbolt cable to the Mini and then to the CalDigit device, the blue light comes on as it should, but the system does not recognise the device or seems to be aware that this device is connected to the system. Also, when I plug any harddrive, usb drive or whatever into the usb slots of the CalDigit, none of them seems to have a flicker of life, because I thought at lease if one attach these devices, the light on the Drives would at least flicker, even if only for a brief moment.

Any advice from anyone using this device with a Mac Mini would be appreciated. Thanks

I managed to sort this problem.

Wanted to do a PRAM reset but couldn't get it done. Then I unplugged everything connected to my computer except the display of course. The reset was quick and fast. Then plugged in the Thunderbolt cable and restarted my system. Now the Thunderbolt cable was active and recognized as well as the hard drive connected to USB3 on CalDigit unit. Plugged everything back in and off we went with a bang.

Love the speed and flexibility of this unit and happy it is all set up..

Thanks for the replies, I appreciate your time.
