how can I delete my macbook air because i want to sell it
What Mac OS X did it come with? If it came with Snow Leopard, you need to restart using the SL install disk, select Disk Utilitiy and erase the internal storage, and then select Install Mac OS X to set it back to factory condition.
If it came with Lion or above, restart holding the Command and R keys, select Disk Utility, erase the internal storage and then select Install Mac OS X to install the operating system.
That resets the MBA to factory condition for the next user.
