Q: Need a direct download for mavericks

I have an iMac and a slow internet (1Mbps), even worse it is running on windows (my computer guy deleted OSX while installing windows). I cannot use internet recovery...it will take more than a day to download ( Mountain LIon). If I can download Mavericks in my laptop(Windows) in which I can use 3G (21 Mbps) when I travel to cities I can boot my iMac from an external drive an experience mac for which I need a direct link to download Mavericks ( since it is free ). I hope someone at Apple can understand and help me.

Mac OS X download can only be done to a Mac computer...and the server has to see the computer to verify it is ellible for the download. You have to use the Mac App Store for Mavericks download.

Any other way to get my iMac running on Mountain LIon at least (don't want to wait a day for download and in case of disconnection I would have to start all over again )

For Mountain Lion and Mavericks there is not a direct download available, you have to use the MAS to get it.

If you can get to an Apple Store (at least in the States, not sure about overseas) they will let you use their high speed conection to install the software.

Did your IT person make the entire drive Windows? If so, you'll have to get OS X back on the iMac before you can login to the App Store and download Mavericks.

If the entire drive is Windows, then the only way to get the Mac OS back on the drive is to erase it.
