iBooks not syncing on Mac

Hi

This is a quite weird issue: I have an iphone 5s with ios7 and just bought a new MacBook Pro with OS X 10.9.2 - I am signed-in on both devices with the same Apple ID - however the books I have in iPhone's iBooks do not appear in the Mac's iBooks app.

Any explanation/help please?
