NetNanny MacBook Pro Internet problem.

From about the time that I got NetNanny on my Pro, it has been acting very strange. It says I'm connected to the internet, when I actually am not, and I can't get on anything that involves internet/wifi. All help would be great, if my loss of internet really is connected with the installation of NetNanny.
