How do I add a keyboard shortcut to remove formatting?

I want to be able to copy a text (⌘C) and then, before pasting it (⌘V), be able to remove the formatting of the text by using another combination (for example ctrlC)

The question is, how do I make my Mac do that?

Thanks! 😀

Hi there Nikkei88,

It sounds like you may be trying to Paste and Match style. The short cut for this is Command-Shift-Option-V. The article below has a list of the common OS X keyboard shortcuts.
