Q: I now am unable to synch pictures from my Nikon to Ipad 2 using the apple ipad connection device.says device is not recognized"

I now am unable to synch pictures from my Nikon to Ipad 2 using the apple ipad connection device. I get an error message saying the device is not recognized. I have been syncing photos this way for 2 yrs and never had a problem.

    iPad: Using the Apple iPad Camera Connection Kit

    You can use the iPad Camera Connection Kit to import most media files on your camera or SD card, regardless of whether the format is compatible with iPad. If you can't view certain images or videos, verify that they are a compatible format in the technical specifications for your device. You may need to import them to your computer for viewing. If you try to play content that your iPad doesn't support, the content may not appear correctly, or the Photos app may close.

    Only device-created files are supported. If you copy files from another device or manually edit or rename files on the digital camera or SD card, the iPad may be unable to detect and import these images or videos.
