As of this morning I cannot send email from my iCloud IMAP account on my iPad Air, my iPhone 5, or my Mac Mini over our Time Warner Internet connection. However, if I turn off Wi-Fi on my iPhone 5, I can send email as usual over the Verizon cellular network. Same with my iPad Air, when I use the iPhone as a hotspot. Same is true at my office and at Starbucks. I can send email using our EarthLink account from all devices over our Time Warner Internet, but not the iCloud IMAP account. I have an iPhone 5C at the office. Same with the 5C. With a Wi-Fi connection I cannot send email. With a cellular connection email sends as usual. I can recieve email normally even over Wi-Fi.

I get the message that the connection to the server "po4-smtp.mail.me.com" failed. Servers can be configured in Settingsd> Mail etc.
I did configure and all seems fine.
I have the same on my Ipad.

as far I can see it is not an update problem. I have the latest form mac. marverick installed.

Also..then I sould not have the problem on my Ipad?

I read there are more poeple with the same problem..might be a "cloud" thing?

Thank you

Having the exact problem as all of you. All is fine with all of my internet and iCloud services, except I cannot send email through my Time Warner home wifi connection. This is on my iPhone5, iPad Air and iMac, all with the latest updated software. I can send email, however, through Verizon and on Starbucks wifi. Also, like another comment in this thread, my wife's iCloud email sends just fine on our home wifi, and she has all the same devices, setups and configurations as I do. This appears to be an Apple system problem, let's hope they fix it soon!
