Q: Can't view email with more than one thread

I am new ti iPad. When I have an email with several threads and I select it on my iPad it will not display or  allow me to open any of the threads, even the  most recent. Is this some setting or a bug in the system?  I don't have this problem on my iPhone.

iPad Air Wi-Fi, Cellular, iOS 7.0.1

    You have Settings > Mail > Organize by Thread turned on, but you are unable to see the individual emails within a thread?

     

    If you are holding your iPad horizontally, you should see a list of messages on the left, and an area to view a message on the right.  Looking at the list on the left:  On a message that is the last in a thread in the upper right of the little rectangle for that message you should see a    >>

    Touch this  >> to select it and the list of messages should change to a list of messages within that thread.  Then touch any message to see it in the viewing area on the right.

    I do have organize by thread. When I select the message with multiple threads it turns gray but does not show the last thread or any of the previous. Should I try turning Organize by Thread off?

    So what does appear in the reading area?

     

    Turning off Organize by Threads just means that each email will appear individually on the list of mail, in date order, not grouped together.  Try it if you want, and see if you can see any of these problematic messages.

    I'm having the same problem.  When I organize my email by thread and tap on the ">>" of a multi-email thread in the message list it turns grey and nothing else happens.  The list doesn't change and the old email from my previous selection is still showing in the display pane.  What's the problem here?  Again, like Daisygator this is not a problem on my iPhone only my iPad Air.
