I have a new iPhone 5S with iOS 7.1
It will not offer a place for me to enter the network/router password so I cannot get connected to wi-fi.
How can I get it to let me enter the password?

Under Settings > Wi-Fi, is the name of the network you're trying to connect to showing? If so, what happens when you tap on it?
The network showed but did not give me the option to enter the password. So I finally said "Forget this network" and it then offered me the network (same one I was having problems with) but this time, when I tapped on the network name, the text box for the password appeared. I entered the correct password and it is now connected to the network.
The place to enter my password for the wi-fi network does not show -- how do I find it?
