"Plug-in Failure" on Youtube videos suddenly (late 06 MacBook Pro OSX 10.7.5)

Youtube videos were working fine up until last night in Safari, and Firefox, yet it works in Chrome. I installed Java and I could be wrong, but it seems like after that all youtube videos have a black screen, and a plug-in failure message. I have tried disabling java, tried turning off the option to block pop-ups, tried deleting java, but it said I couldn't due to a error. ANY help would be greatly appreciated

Flash Player is Plug-in version 13.0.0.182 is installed.

Just tried iCab, and it crashed in that as well, but gave me a report:

Wait until Adobe fixes the issue.

I updated flash on my girls 2006 iMac yesterday to 13.0.0.182 and got immediate crashes from the flash plugin in Firefox with OSX Lion.

When I get a chance I'm going to remove flash, repair disk permissions in recovery hd then reinstall again which will verify if it's an upgrade error causing the crash or simply a buggy flash release from adobe!

Java should be disabled in the browser for security reasons unless you desperately need it, in Java applet system preferences.

so you don't think it had anything to do with the java install? It was fine the day before, and I hadn't updated anything else, unless Flash updated automatically
